We Sponsor LEO to Compete in Local Shooting Competitions at Cameo
Thank you to our generous donors and the great staff at Cameo Shooting Range for helping us with our mission to give back to the Colorado POST Certified Law Enforcement Officers in Mesa County. Keeping up on range time and competing in shooting competitions helps LEO build on skills. This also allows them to practice their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
We have up to 6 spots every month where we will sponsor LEO to compete in handgun and rifle competitions. Look on the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex website to see the dates for competitions. Cameo is located at 3934 I 9/10 Rd, Palisade, CO 81526.

We are partnered with Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in a program called Box for a Cop. This program helps cut the cost of shooting competitions by providing at least one box of ammunition for law enforcement in our sponsorship for shooting competitions. More information below.

Box for a Cop
Box for a Cop was created to help give back to Colorado POST Certified Law Enforcement Officers participating in Shooting Competitions at Cameo Shooting and Education Complex. The “box” is a box of ammunition.
Give back to law enforcement officers in Mesa County by purchasing a “box” of ammunition for $16.00-$21.00 (plus tax). Each box will support and give law enforcement officer an opportunity to refine skills and cut down on cost of competition
To participate in Box for a Cop and give a box of ammunition, please donate by phone to Cameo Shooting and Education Complex or give in person at the front office. The box will be put aside in support of the program and given to law enforcement officers competing in shooting competitions sponsored through The Peacemakers Project.
Note: Ammunition boxes are only for shooting competitions. Not for practice ammo.
